Control problems stem from trying to forge your own path, being headstrong and self-willed, trying to control others.
And when things don’t go your way, you’re panicked, nervous, stressed, angry.
The remedy is being a follower of all others and technology, instead of a leader: being passive (reactive), submissive, yielding, obedient. Being a gentle, quiet, good listener, coming when called, obedient to commands. All of which is great peace.
It goes without saying that children obey adults – not the other way around.
And it goes without saying that obedience is only obedience within the confines of the ways of God. If someone commands you to do something ungodly, we don’t listen to them. As Jesus says: “My sheep know my voice (My ways) and follow me. They will not listen to a stranger (follow evil ways).”
