  • The first church began with the Jews, and the final church will end with the Jews

Pray for godly wisdom and do not doubt. You will receive it in due time. – James 1:5-7

The church of Christ began with the Jewish apostle Peter in Jerusalem, and grew in number daily with other believing Jews in Israel. It wasn’t until some time later that the apostle Paul came about and was sent by God to the gentiles.

So the first church began with the Jews. And in the first church, they all sold all of their possessions – homes, land, everything – and pooled their money together to distribute to each member of the church as they needed. They were all in agreeance with the ways of God: all of one spirit, all of one mind, all of one heart, all of one accord, and all shared everything they had amongst each other. And there was much peace, joy and harmony amongst the church.

So the first church began that way in Jerusalem with a remnant of Jews, and the final church will end that way in the wilderness with the remnant of Tribulation Jews.
