How the rapture is on May 24-25, 2026 which is true Pentecost (Shavuot):
*If you don’t know what the rapture is, please see note: The Rapture
Pentecost is when the Holy Spirit first descended on the disciples to begin the Holy Spirit indwelt church age. The Holy Spirit indwelt church began on Pentecost, and will end on Pentecost.
The true counting of Hebrew months:
The true start of Hebrew months go by the first sighting of the sliver of the new moon (the modern Hebrew calendar doesn’t do it this way – they go by the concealed moon). Hebrew days go from sunset to sunset, rather than midnight to midnight.
The Aries-sun calendar:
The Aries-sun calendar was in use back in Jesus’ day: In Antiquities of the Jews (Book 3, Chapter 10), the 1st-century (Jesus’ day) historian Flavius Josephus states that the Jewish month of Nisan (which he refers to by the Macedonian name Xanthicus) begins when the sun is in the sign (constellation) of Aries. So, by the Hebrew moon sliver sighting calendar, when the sun was in Aries and the first sighting of the sliver of the new moon was spotted, that was the first day of Nisan back in Jesus’ day.
The true count to Pentecost – how we get to May 25 instead of May 24:
The 50 day count to Pentecost begins the day after the first sabbath that occurs during the Passover. Per the Aries-sun calendar, back in Jesus’ day during the crucifixion, Jesus was crucified on April 03, 33 AD and was risen on the third day on April 06, 33 AD. Mary came to the tomb to see Jesus early in the morning around sunrise to visit Jesus the day after the sabbath, where He was not there because He was risen that morning. April 06, 33 AD was a Monday – not a Sunday, making Sunday the true sabbath – not Saturday. Satan has done an amazing job at messing with all of the calendars so none of us would know the actual timing of God-ordained events, and messing with the true sabbath was one of his greatest works.
In 2026, Passover and Resurrection Day aligns with 33 AD on April 06, marking the start of the 50 day count to true Pentecost, which is Monday May 25 – not Sunday May 24.
The enactment of Pentecost foreshadows the rapture:
On Pentecost, the requirement from God for the Jews is to bake two loaves of leavened bread and lift them up in the air and wave them before God:
- The two loaves represent Jews and gentiles.
- The church (made up of Jews and gentiles) is synonymous with wheat, and bread is made with wheat.
- Leaven is often a symbol for sin, and the bread being baked strictly with leaven points to sinful Jew and gentile believers with their sin “baked out” from their faith in Christ.
- The act of lifting the loaves up and waving them before God is symbolic for the Jew and gentile church being lifted up into the air at the rapture and presented before God in heaven.
Pentecost rapture biblical patterns:
- The “Birthday” and “Conclusion” Pattern: Pentecost is widely considered the birthday of the Church because it was the day the Holy Spirit first indwelt believers in Acts 2. Some argue it is logical for the “Church Age” to conclude on its anniversary, with the Rapture serving as the day the Church is “caught up” to heaven.
- The Harvest Symbolism: Pentecost (Shavuot) is a harvest festival celebrating the “firstfruits” of the wheat harvest. The Rapture is often described using harvest imagery, where believers (the “wheat”) are gathered into God’s barn.
- The Enoch Connection: According to Jewish tradition, the prophet Enoch—who was raptured to heaven without dying—was born and taken up on the day of Pentecost. Enoch is often viewed as a “type” or foreshadowing of the Church, as he was also a gentile who was rapture (and the church is primarily gentile).
- The Marriage Typology: Pentecost marks the betrothal of the Church to Christ through the Holy Spirit. In ancient Jewish wedding traditions, a bridegroom often returned for his bride on the anniversary of their betrothal, leading some to link this pattern to the Rapture.
- Trumpet Imagery: The “first trumpet” of God was sounded at Mount Sinai during the first Pentecost (giving of the Law). Many associate the “last trumpet” mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:52 with the Rapture, suggesting it may also sound on a future Pentecost.
Aaron
A dear brother and Christ named Aaron has been diligently sounding the alarm of a Pentecost rapture for the past three years, and has done much personal biblical study about it through the years, and has found over 150 reasons in the bible for a Pentecost rapture.

Interested in going in the rapture?
Or were you left behind after the rapture and want to be saved now? Simply believe the gospel found in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and you will be saved: that Christ (1) died to pay for all our sins, (2) was buried and (3) rose again the third day. It is by faith alone, not by works, lest any man should boast – Ephesians 2:8-9. The nanosecond you believe that gospel, you are indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit which is the guarantee of your eternal life – Ephesians 1:13-14. It truly is that simple. That’s why it’s called “the good news”. Just don’t take the mark of the beast or worship the image of the beast. For more details on salvation, see our homepage: https://gospelnotes.life
